Our Thesis

Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is a nascent but rapidly growing sector driven by innovations in electric propulsion, autonomous vehicles, and the ride-sharing economy. Intel’s efforts in autonomous technologies, network connectivity, and edge computing complement the electric VTOL and UAM areas. Since our investment in 2018, Intel has provided strategic guidance to Joby on their technology stack (autonomous, connectivity), regulatory policy, and made introductions to strategic partners.
