Yibo Nian
Biography
Dr. Yibo Nian is an Investment Director located in Shanghai, China. He joined Intel Capital in 2017.
Dr. Nian primarily focuses on Silicon Manufacturing and Advanced Packaging, as well as Blockchain and Encryption Computing. He currently serves as an observer on the board of Spectrum Materials, Colltech, Capcon, Shenzhou Semi, Sunlune, and TAT. Before his investment role, Dr. Nian was a Portfolio Manager for ICAP China and APAC, where he successfully drove multiple IPOs and private exits including Montage Technology, Supcon, and VeriSilicon.
Before joining Intel, Dr. Nian was a Sr. Staff Device Engineer at SanDisk Corp, leading non-volatile 3D memory technology development. He holds BS in Physics from Shandong University, PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston, and MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and Columbia Business School. Dr. Nian loves sports, reading, and spending time with his family.
